FRIENDS

to all the friends who become
a huge part of your life
they stab you in the back
and slowly twist the knife
to all the best friends
who helped you through the night
and then forget about you
or make you run in fright
for all those people
who claim to love and praise
you'll be stabbed in the back
one of these days
they do it to you
or you do it to them
the evil circle -
it never ends
people always keep it spinning
keep adding to the hate
with whom you are friends
may determine your own fate
i hate the awful punishments
i wish it all could end
that just goes to show that
you can't trust your own best
friend.
