In publication since 1983, the International Directory of Corporate Art Collections is still the only comprehensive reference for corporate art collecting around the world.

We continue to add information to our website, and to revise the directory with new features, so take your time to look at the information we have on this website.  In the Editor's Choice section you can find a  list of the 50 best collections in North America.  In the Bibliography there is a brief list of other books and articles about corporate art collections.  And please feel free to contact us with any questions you may have.

If you follow news of the business world, you've surely noticed how fast the corporate and business world changes  --  which also means that corporate art collections change as well.  When we published the directory in a printed book form, we found that during the two or three-year intervals between updates, there were extensive changes -- new collections appearing, some companies merging with others, some collections sold, and some companies disappearing completely.  

Because the Directory is now published so that you can download it online.  we are able to update and add new collections constantly  without waiting for the publication of a new edition.  We have eliminated the release of the Directory as a bi-annual publication of year-specific editions.  We check and update the information of about 75-100 collections every month and  we add new collections or make corrections on existing listings whenever we become aware of changes.  It is an ongoing process and  takes approximately 18 months to 2 years to make a complete cycle, but there is never a point when the "job is done"  because a corporation's  strategy can change overnight!  This  updating process has made the directory a constantly growing and evolving project -- a living  "work in progress."

Note:  The International Directory of Corporate Art Collections was originally published as a soft-bound book  --   ISBN: 0-943488-00-1/ 0943488001.  It was published as the ARTnews International Directory of Corporate Art Collections between 1986 - 1994.  In 1998 we began to produce the Directory on CD-ROM.  If you would like a paper copy, you can order a spiral-bound printout of all of the information on the CD-ROM -- this is approximately 600 pages.   Further information is available on the order form.
