Here you will find links to both general career sites as well as to companies that might be hiring technical workers. I have no connection to any of these sites and list them only as a service to DAA members.
| Career Web | I just gave this a quick once over, but it seemed to be fairly well laid out. My search for Powerbuilder jobs in NJ came up with 13 hits including a really nice sounding position with Novartis. Too bad I'm pretty happy with my current job. Has some interesting articles on job hunting for technical workers (including a series on the social aspects of being a techie). |
| The Monster Board | The search turned up only 6 jobs, including the above mentioned Novartis position. Has a good career resource section with advice on everything from resumes to office politics. |
| NJO Career Center | The classified sections of the Star Ledger and the Times of Trenton. My search returned 37 hits. Has a small archive of career related articles from the Star Ledger. |
| DICE | This site was suggested by an alumnus. My search for Powerbuilder jobs in NJ turned up 32 hits. You can try their search engine here. |
If your company is hiring, please contact me and I will add a link or instructions for applying. Remember the DAA is the world's largest organization and its members have experience with 20 hour days, no comp days, and low wages. They will work harder than almost anyone and be grateful that its not as bad as what they're used to.
