You reached the Homepage of Serban-Mihai Popescu.
Currently,
its single purpose is to publish on the web the CAD related software:
gdsreader.
gdsreader is a Calma (GDSii)
reader/parser/print tool. It is meant as a fast tool to get info
about Calma files contents and to print it to PostScript and HPGL-2
formats. gdsreader is placed under the GNU Public License
(GPL). Consequently, you may freely use it to whatever purpose fits
you, but there is no warranty provided with it etc. etc.
gdsreader
is (always) in alpha stage. Currently, the program is able to fully
(well, almost) parse the Calma format and to generate PostScript,
HPGL/2 and POV-Ray
representations of it. The POV-Ray support as well as some transform
bugs removal and documentation (finally a MAN page!) have been
graciously added by Pete Curran
to whom I extend many thanks.
Please try out the current
version of the program, GDSreader.0.3.2.tar.gz
(81k)
The old version can be found here.
