Our approach to ministry at Grace Church...

Our Core Value:

Grace is a community of people whose deepest conviction is that the biblical Gospel, when faithfully communicated, believed and practiced, can transform any individual, family or place.

Our Vision: Reclaiming the Reformation

At Grace, we are seeking to champion the great “solas” that rose out of the Protestant Reformation in the early 1500’s:

Sola Scriptura – Scripture Alone,

Sola Gratia – Grace Alone,

Sola Fide – Faith Alone,

Solus Christus – Christ Alone,

Soli Deo Gloria – to God’s Glory Alone.

During that great church era, God brought the church back to its biblical roots. In a world and culture of increasing religious confusion, we believe it is time for a “New Reformation”, a movement that focuses, again, on the powerful doctrines of God’s grace.

Our Strategy:

To facilitate our core value and vision, we believe God is calling us to focus our energies and ministries into four vital areas: Celebration, Community, Compassion, and Commission.

Our weekly worship is a Celebration – as we gather together, we seek to go deep into the presence of God through singing, prayer, the powerful preaching of His Word, and administering the Sacraments. In a culture starving for substance, this is the depth our hearts crave.

We are called to Community –we all desire relationships that are real, transparent, and encouraging – where we can truly be ourselves, and be loved and accepted. We seek to develop community in every aspect of our church life as we share the joy and struggles of this life while growing together in our Lord Jesus Christ.

We are called to Compassion – where we extend mercy to our church family and community, where people are hurting and need real “hands and feet type” help. Compassion is concrete, tangible and physical: a food pantry, ESL classes [English as a Second Language], and daycare facilities are all examples. The possibilities are nearly endless.

We are called to Commission –we know that God’s grace - extended to us through faith in Christ - is the key to health in every single area of our lives. It is our great privilege to tell people about abundant and eternal life found in a personal relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ.

Our Expectation:

We believe this investment will better enable us to work out our strategy in our community as it will enhance our visibility - 24/7 community facility presence that puts us on people's radar screen, credibility- in a culture that associates church with a building, we believe this investment is critical for reaching both the local community searching for Christ, and for those seeking a stable church home that is more than a once-a-week temporary facility, and viability- better opportunities for ministry of Compassion and Commission during the week.

Please be in prayer for Grace Church during our fundraising efforts!
