Four Weeks of Spam

Last updated November 4, 1997...1 day between spams.

Because of the redesigning of the page, I'm putting a month's worth of spammers on at once. Those at the end will be kept on for the full four weeks...wouldn't want to short change anybody.

Coming soon, the Eudora Filter will be updated.

FutureWT Email addresses Someone needs to learn that just because Netscape can do email doesn't mean he should send HTML as email. In fact, a lot of people need to learn this.
0041197o4ntcm2@tmi-osm.net Online Sales & Marketing Survey Claims they believe in "responsible online Mass [sic] marketing," so please write them back at such-and-such an address to be removed. No, writing to that address just lets them know the address is valid. If they really believed in responsible online mass marketing, they wouldn't send it out in the first place.

None given Pictures of Princess Diana "Unrevealed" pix! Either they want you to think they're photos of the accident but are just pictures of her on a beach or they're doctored photos to make you think they're of the accident. Either way, whoever it is is scum.
17424794@compuserve.com Buffy RAKTOR meets banking scam RAKTOR was an early AI program designed to write stories. The problem was, he's schizophrenic. So was the beginning of this spam (something about a popcorn popper, EMF waves, and a dead fish) which evolved into a plea to send mail to them about how to protect your money in banks. Faked address from Compu$erve and faked To list from AOL. This guy doesn't like anybody.

Investigating people on the Internet Despite the fact that it's spam, it raises an interesting point: Everything about your life is on a computer somewhere and most likely can be accessed by people you don't necessarily want to see it. A lot of this stuff can be found at City Hall, but the advent of computers makes this information available to anyone with a browser.

member@onestep.net L.I.T. Stealing cable Tries to hide behind the First Amendment by saying they are merely trying to "educate interested parties" about cable and that "the intent of this writing is not to defraud or promote the theft of cable." Hmmm...pay us 10 bucks to learn how to steal cable isn't defrauding or promoting the theft of cable? Plus, it was sent via the IEMMC group.
