Arthur Moornick was a disgruntled electrical worker who caught his hands in an accidentally-created 4-dimensional matrix, which turned the leading edges of his fingers into white holes to another universe.  Obsessed with power, he eventually killed his own nagging wife with his powers, and this pushed him over the edge into insanity.  The beams that come from his hands are white and absolutely flat.  His "costume" is an ordinary business suit, with necktie.
