How to get there:

From Lafayette, take I-10 East to the Henderson Exit, #115.  At the bottom of the ramp, turn left onto LA 347 and proceed under I-10.  Continue about 1.1 miles and look for the Swamp Tavern on the left set back about 100 yards or so and flanked by two lines of trees.  It is almost directly across from where LA 678 Ts into LA 347.

What to expect:

Once a dive, now newly renovated with large, smooth dance floor.

Long saloon-style bar down the right had side.

Rustic interior with antiques hanging from the walls.

Mostly Cajun bands.  Becoming a favorite spot for local dancers.
