What to expect:

A small, no-frills Cajun dance hall popular among the older local Cajun community.

Excellent, long but very narrow dance floor in middle with tables in a horseshoe around it.

Band stand is against the left wall and the bar on the right wall.

Dancing is done chest to chest at a high rate of speed - no room for stationary dances in the middle.

When dancing, keep up with the flow or be run over!

A little bit of food (Jambalaya or Gumbo) may occasionially be offered for sale.

Cover charge is quite reasonable - $3 or $4, higher on festival weekends.

House Band, since the 1960s, is Walter Mouton and the Scott Playboys.

Open to the public every Saturday night.

Music generally gets underway around 8:30PM and lasts 'until'.
