How to get there:

From I-49, head West on I-10 and take exit # 100 onto Ambassador Caffery Parkway.   At the top of the ramp, get into the right lane and bear right onto Ambassador Caffery Parkway.   Cowboy's is about 100 yards ahead on the left, just past a Ryder Truck Rental place.   Note that the club is partially obscured by a fence at the edge of the Ryder property.   It is in a small shopping center called Bacque Plaza, but is in a stand-alone building.   There is an Exxon station across the road.   You will find plenty of well-lit off-street parking in the shopping center parking lot just to the right of the club.

What to expect:

A good-sized club catering mostly to the Country and Western dance scene.

Several times a month, Zydeco bands are featured.

The club's unique feature is a great suspended wooden dance floor with railings on all 4 sides, separating dancers from those pesky spectators.

The railing has a wide top to hold your drink while you are out on the floor.

Dance floor is in the center of the club offering a great view of the elevated stage on the right side.

Tired of dancing? Try the mechanical bull in the back of the club!

Several pool tables are in the front part of the club, if that's your thing.

There is a decent amount of seating on the side away from the stage.

Admission is around $5, may be higher on festival weekends.

Live music generally gets underway between 9:30 and 10 PM and can last until 2AM.
