ELECTION OF OFFICERS
Elections are
conducted at the first rehearsal in preceeded appointment of a
nominating committee in April. This committee shall solicit
nominations for the BoD. Those nominated shall be contacted in
advance and must agree to be nominated and to serve to the best
of their ability. At the elections, the nomination committee
shall present the nominated names. Then nomination will be
invited from the floor. Once nominations cease, the elections
will be conducted by written ballot. The newly elected officers
will become the Officers elect. The current officers will finish
their term to the end of the concert season. In the event of
resignation of any of the Elected Officers, an election to
replace the vacant position will be held at the next Symphony
Business meeting.
