On this
bicycling/walking tour Chris and Frank visited Ferndale, its Kinetic Sculpture
Race Museum and the Humboldt County Fair. There we watched the senior band
perform while enjoying fresh cherry pie.
Then on to the Avenue of the Giants
which we bicyled from Myers Flat to Pepperwood - and back. This is a most
enjoyable way to experience the majesty of these preserved redwood forests.
Next
we took our little RV on the "Lost Coast" tour - a 100-mile roundtrip
through one of the most uninhabited coastal regions of California. We did it in
one day, but we should have taken a week!
Finally we joined our bicycle
club's bike rally at the Russian River for yet more fun. |
