I'm a pretty seasoned traveler (1+ million actual flight miles and 2.8 million
total miles) who sells software for a living. No, it has
absolutely nothing to do with travel. I watch people and observe things
during my travels.
Travel can be a real drag or fun. I've chosen to make it fun by taking
control of my travels and not letting travel control me. You can learn to do
the same, that's why I've created my travel class and written my guidebook.
If you (or your
company/organization) has lots of travelers, I can arrange a custom class to
teach my secrets. E-mail me if you're interested. I also speak (and
answer questions) at various functions. If your group, meeting or
convention is looking for a speaker who gives straight forward answers and
advise, please let me know.
My travel biography:
Bob Cowen has lived in the Detroit
area all of his life and is a very frequent traveler. He has
flown more than 1 million miles on Northwest Airlines alone. At last
count, he’s started or ended trips at 120 different commercial airports in the US
plus many in other countries and has flown in 48 different
models of commercial aircraft.
Selling software for a living requires a good deal of travel and Bob has
learned how to save on airfares, hotels, cruises and rental cars. He
has also learned how to survive and thrive in today’s crowded, impersonal
travel world.
When he's not traveling, Bob offers classess on travel through
Detroit area local school districts and has authored a travel guidebook.
He has appeared on various TV and radio programs and been quoted in The Wall Street Journal, The New
York Times, US News and World Report, USA
Today, Business Week Magazine, The Detroit Free Press, The LA Times, The San Jose Mercury News and various other national media.
