![]() Welcome to my gallery dedicated to Counted Cross Stitch and other embroidery techniques. This site contains digital images of all of my completed projects as well as links to several of my favorite cross stitch sites. Stitching ProjectsLinks to my favorite Cross Stitch MagazinesThe Cross Stitcher The most well known of the American cross stitch magazines. This magazine is devoted almost exclusively to projects (and the requisite advertisements). Cross Stitcher The most well known of the British cross stitch magazines. There is no relation to the American magazine listed above. About half the space is dedicated to projects, while the remainder is dedicated to letters, articles, and reviews. Perhaps that's why they can publish monthly, instead of the bi-monthly usual for American magazines. Just Cross Stitch If you ever saw an issue of this magazine, you'll see that it's a bit misleading. Yes, most of the projects are cross stitch, but its also includes some other techniques, such as hardanger. This magazine does not include pieces suitable for beginners. Links to my favorite Cross-Stitch shopsThese are all shops that I have personally visited, so they are within the same region. The Stitching Post As far as I know, this is the largest shop in the state of Maryland. Count Your Blessings This shop is a bit of a drive, but they hold most of their classes and special activities on Sundays, which fits well with my schedule. Barb's Stitchin' Stuff This is the closest good shop to where I live and is the only one that's to my west. They keep quite a collection of Sudberry House products. Barb keeps an excellent reference (Barb's Index) of shops, charts, and anything else that's related to stitching. Stitching Pretty This is the only major shop in the region that is open to the public every Sunday.
