Looking Glass is a software program that helps the philatelist scan, analyze, compare, and document images of stamps, cancellations, overprints, and plate varieties.

With Looking Glass, you can:

• Electronically measure perforations
• Electronically measure the distance between any two points on your stamp, cover, or any scanned image
• Magnify philatelic images to inspect features that are normally difficult to identify
• Print stamp or cancellation features for high quality reproductions of images for exhibiting or publishing
• Add text lines to image files for cataloging
• Automatically rotate and overlay images to assist in comparisons
• Scan and crop images quickly and efficiently

Looking Glass was designed by a well known stamp expertizer to aid in the sometimes painstaking process of looking for very subtle differences among authentic and suspect philatelic items. Looking Glass can save you money and time by giving you the ability to quickly find and measure distinguishing features that may not have been apparent even under close scrutiny.
