Weekday Weather

18h Forecast for Thursday, 27 March 2003 valid 1800Z

Synopsis:  Cold front should be well off the coast with a small window before the next system moving in from the midwest.  Looks like a fairly dry airmass after the front with very good instability.

Forecast:  Latest model runs are in fairly close agreement between MAPS and ETA.    Suggest moderate to sometimes strong thermals to 6,000 and sometimes 7,000 feet with scattered Cu.  Winds light from the WNW, but too weak for any ridge.     Looks like a very good G-Cup day!

Confidence level:  High.   Front has been behaving pretty much according to plan over last 2 days, and models seem to have a good handle on things.
