- Council of Logistics Management
- Electronic Shipping Guide
- Intermodal Association of North America
- MPS software for retrieval
of carrier service schedules, and information about transit times
point to point; other features include "access to the latest
pricing index for your shipments based on the UN Harmonized System
for exports or imports"; and "contact participating
companies to receive specific quotes for your shipments"
- Maritime Global Net
Cool site where I got lots of my information. It's screwy in that
it has multiple windows and I still haven't figured out how to
resize any of them so that I can get the active one as full-screen.
- Princeton Transportation Resources
This one looks really cool! Haven't had the chance to explore
it yet... Bullets for pages include Highway, Transit, and Rail
System Information, Airports and Airlines, Colleges and Universities
(with transportation programs), Private Companies, Transportation-Related
Organizations, Conferences and Seminars, NetAddress Book of Transportation
Professionals...
- Sea Link (did you know
we are one of their Valued Customers?)
- Sea.Net Ltd. An internet
provider for the shipping community based in the UK. It has a
library, forums, and other information (a pay service)
- Seaports Infopages
They publish the 1996 AAPA directory, and also has a page of International
Trade bookmarks and a list of "Carriers of the Americas"
which does not contain WSL! Also a "Port and Maritime Services"
directory which looks pretty huge.
- Transax pretty heavy
on the graphics - next time I'll try text only.
- US Customs
(from Port of Baltimore page)
