This is me with my friend Jana Nicol-Holley (Jana on the left, me on the right). We met via the Internet's Lacemakers Mailing List. She very kindly drove all the way from her hometown of Lansing all the way to Detroit (2 hours each way on a work day too!) to see me one evening when I was there on business in 1996. Jana is wearing an antique pocket watch that Dan bought for her; I'm wearing a bead-knitted bag that won a first in the Evergreen State Fair. Too bad we didn't display our tatting in the picture, too!
