How Jesus became Christ, the Messiah
(A
“Spiritual Prodigy” who attained Divine Synchronicity)
By Michael F. O’Keeffe
Who was Jesus?
Who is Christ? The answer to
these questions, as explained by “traditional Christian doctrine,” is that
Jesus (Christ) was God-incarnate; that God Himself entered our world by
becoming a man (through birth) by way of a venerable human female virgin, so
that He could Redeem the world.
“Traditional Christian doctrine” is partially right,
but there is more to the story.
Actually, Jesus was a human person – in every way,
like us – yet, unlike us, he knew how to make himself so clean and pure and
holy (through prayer, meditation and fasting) that he could become one with our
Father, and he did. As a result, God
could manifest through him, and He did.
Even in childhood, and throughout His adult life,
Jesus spoke and acted as the Holy Spirit moved Him, because He had purified his
heart. The incarnation of a soul who
fully understands how to accomplish this (and is strong enough) is extremely
rare.
Jesus was born of a venerable young woman, who had
conceived the normal way women had always conceived. He was born, a spiritual prodigy – so wise and spiritually
advanced, that he knew how to obtain “the pearl of greatest price,” and thereby
achieve purity, which leads to Christhood, and so He did.
When one accomplishes this, he has synchronized his
mind and will with God’s; that is, he (or she) has become “in tune” with the
mind and will of our Father – the God of Heaven. Jesus’ mind and will became so perfectly synchronized with the
Divine, He could speak and act as God-on-Earth. Indeed, after He achieved synchronicity, He
could do nothing else.
Then, He completed His mission on Earth – to
demonstrate that man is strong enough to conquer any illusion, including the
strongest illusion of all – death.
Furthermore, by saying, “you may follow me,” He made
it clear that anyone who wishes, may achieve all that He achieved, and He
clearly stated that eventually all mankind will follow Him, and thereby achieve
all that He achieved, because, as God’s Children, we have no place else to
go. Thus, He said, “I am your brother man just come to show the way to God.”¹
God, our Father, sent Jesus to Earth as fulfillment
of His promise (in prophecy) that He would send us a Redeemer. He sent us a very wise, holy and advanced
soul, who showed us “the Return Path To Eden.”
Like many geniuses and prodigies
who have occasionally been born on Earth, Jesus came to us as a “spiritual
prodigy.” Like Mozart, Newton and
Einstein, who had learned a great deal about music, math and science in
previous incarnations, Jesus had gained tremendous spiritual knowledge and
wisdom – through mystic pursuits in previous lives.²
Many people of Judeo-Christian traditions may reject
(or even become angry about) these assertions.
People with more flexible minds are likely to be, at least, skeptical,
and will want conclusive evidence or “proof.”
To both the “fundamentalist” and the skeptic, I say, if you are willing
to admit that God, our Father, could have (if He chose) sent Messiah to us
precisely as described above, I believe it can be demonstrated to you that He
did. If you are not willing to admit
that our Father could have done it that way, it will serve no purpose for you
to read any further.
If you decide to read further, just go to the Aquarian Gospel, and read the Foreword (or
read A Review of this Gospel), and after reading,
proceed to the text. If the information
presented in the Foreword and “A Review” does not convince you, the text will
(if you read carefully – and with forthright sincerity). The Foreword takes about 10 minutes to
read. “A Review of the Aquarian Gospel”
also requires only about ten minutes.
The text can take many hours.
Many readers discover they prefer to read only a few chapters per day.
2. Jesus once said, “there are no
prodigies.” In this statement he was
referring to “prodigy” in the sense of an accident of nature. Thus He indicated that the appearance of a
prodigy is certainly no accident of nature, but is the result of enormous
learning (acquired in previous incarnations) by an exceptionally talented
youth. AG 37: 9-16
