This is a basic tank for geckos that like moist tropical conditions, a 10-gallon aquarium arranged vertically. This is adequate for a single mad-mad or a pair of smaller geckos. The substrate is moist coco-peat, and the plant is a Chinese evergreen. On this tank, the front panel with the door is made of acrylic.
This is a larger (and more fun!) acrylic tank with a waterfall and shallow pool. It's about 30x30x15" and is shaped like a bay window. It has a false bottom that contains a water reservoir with a pump that produces the waterfall. This is a technique borrowed from dart-frog keepers.
