Description: The Surinam cobalt morph of Dendrobates tinctorius is black with yellow markings on the head and body, and blue on the belly and legs. They are about 2 inches long at maturity.
Wild habitat: This species of dart frog is from the rainforests of Surinam, in South America, where they live on the forest floor and on low plants.
These are sub-adults.
