"The Book" . During Montgomery a few years ago I happened upon a stall that specialized in antique dog books. Not
surprisingly I could not find any Norfolk books. I asked the propreietor if she had ANYTHING on Norfolk and she replied, "No,
but I do have a scrapbook on Norwich with some Norfolk pictures". When she showed me the scrapbook I couldn't believe my eyes.
A hard-bound album with 64 pages of early Norwich-related advertisements and displays. I had very little trouble coughing
up the $100 and it remains to this day my best antique purchase. Below is displayed the first page, taken from a Supplement
to "Our Dogs" December 13, 1935. From time to time I'll post more pages from The Book on this web site.
