ABOMINATION - Secularism, Modernism, Disobedience of Church Authority

[WARNING: the listserver list, Vatican 2 email list (a.k.a. ARRC - association for religious rights of catholics) is NOT the same or related at all to the Vatican II council of the Church.]
[written - 12/94]

This serves as warning for the people of God.
Some of you may already know that there have been associations or groups of dissenters, schismatics, FARC's (fallen-away RC's) and such labels that exist inside and outside cyperspace. These are those which have been instigated by the devil in his conquest to "divide and conquer" the Church so he can "come after the obedient children of God", making dissenters or Judases amongst and out of them. Well, with serious concern, I must inform everyone that "E-MAIL LISTS" exist under a "Catholic" name (much like this one) but are actually "electronic" counterparts of "associations/groups" that subscribe to a specific "AGENDA" in "undermining" the authority, religiousness and sacredness of the Church. There, "civility" is mistaken as "peace", just as a atheism strives for "peace" to maintain security for worldly existence and other concerns. There, they "seek" to delude people with personal, secular, worldly, humanitarian agendas, just as "humanitarianism" is needed by atheists in order to survive on earth. Thus, "values" if moral, and if there is any, is biased and based on temporal and worldly concerns. It HINDERS adherence to the divine Truths, acceptance of these Truths, preparation for eternal life (instead focus is on short-lived outlook for temporal, worldly life); the bottom line is, the "kingdom of God in heaven" is prevented a chance to be brought on earth.

If only they would try to see even farther pass their nearsightedness, so they can see that their goals of destroying...ehem, DE-structuring the Church will not stand the tests of times. Nothing compared to how our Church's CONCRETE (ROCK-hard) structure has stood the tests of times as it was Christ who designed it Himself. The Church, with its divine-established structure, has covered HUGE grounds on A LOT of issues - moral, spiritual, family, individual, relationships, prayer, virtues, values, worship, sacraments, gifts, graces, special cases, situations, traditions, culture, and plenty more that this NEW "associations/groups" think they could even be able to start all over again as to DESTROY everything the Church has put up. The only Way they could do so is as how the "temple" was destroyed; as how Christ was betrayed, persecuted and crucified; and that's how the Church will be persecuted. But, of course, just as Christ is risen back, the Church will be too.

If only they could see pass their secular outlook as to think that "Church teachings" have been there as a "threat" to sanctification of God's people; that having a Pope, a Holy See, our priests, clergy and nuns, all religious, or "authority" in general, is ineffective and inapplicable for a Church. Thanks be to God, for with the teachings, sacraments and gifts from the Church, we have maintained God as our BIG BOSS, He having CONTROL over His people, and so His people are well guided towards His narrow righteous path. No, their pespective, being biased, to them, this is looked upon as "inappropriate control". Well, think again. By St. Paul's inspired writing, there is need for "shepherding of flocks". Therefore, there is a need for shepherds. Flocks must NOT be left unprotected and that's why Christ assigned Apostles and disciples for His people.

You can just "feel" and observe how they would "SHIVER" at the very thought of "control by another human upon them" - ie. Christ's assignments and work for the 12 Apostles. Just carry that thought as referred to in St. Paul's: Romans 13 - (ministry, authority, shepherding, commandments of God and obedience of them):

"Let every soul be subject unto higher powers. For there is no power but of God: the powers that be are ORDAINED BY God. Whosoever resists the power, resists the ordinance of God: and they that resist shall receive to themselves damnation. For rulers are not a terror to good works, but to the evil. Wilt thou then be afraid of the power? do that which is good, and thou shall have praise of the same: For he is the minister of God to thee for good. But if thou do that which is evil, be afraid; for he beareth not the sword in vain: for he is the minister of God, a revenger to execute wrath upon him that doeth evil. Wherefore ye must needs be subject, not only for wrath, but also for conscience sake. For this cause pay ye tribute also: for they are God's ministers, attending continually upon this very thing. Render therefore to all their dues: tribute to whom tribute is due; custom to whom custom; fears to whom fear; honour to whom honour."

On the other hand, such associations/lists "fear" such authority as if "it will bite". By their nearsighted outlook, they only look at issues on a temporal, narrow point of view with concern for themselves in order to "survive"; just as how athiests can be "NICE", relatively speaking; So, "live and let live", and not worry about eternal damnation as their concerns are mainly only for their life while they live. Thus, the people of God can be misguided from "holiness" and "righteousness" by their UNSETTLING, ever-chaning, easily destroyable, easily bad- influenced, worldy principles.

As I said, these are close to the "desolating abomination" because they seek to "overpower" and destroy the SACRED authority ordained by God and the structure of our Holy Mother Church, the consistent, Mystical Body of Christ. Thus, such "destruction"...ehem, "re-structuring" by them, they badly need for their survival. Putting to the test, this source for survival (as what I did by putting a "trap" regarding the "kingdom of God" and His angels), with a single "tremor" upon it from someone with the MESSAGE of Truth, gift or grace from the Church, and **KABOOM**, their unstable, fake and unsettled "peace" goes down the drain (just as how an atheist's peace can be disturbed by a mention of any divine Truth).

Therefore, what they have is a hypocritical, unstable peace which is UNLIKE the eternal and gracious peace that can come from abidance to the teachings of the Church and the authoritative ordinances of God upon the Church. This is so because the Church is provided with the REAL divine order, design, concrete structure, and ordained AUTHORITY given to her by Christ through His vicar and so it extends from earth to heaven and back: "Whatever you bind on earth shall be bound in heaven; and whatever you loose on earth shall be lost in heaven"!

Hence, to the people of God, be aware of Satan's snares and others' persecution upon the Church. Be steadfast in your stand, God's obedience to God's statutes, convictions and faithfulness. Take care in contemplation and application of the divine Truths in the teachings of our Church. Respect God's ordinances upon His ministers, His shepherds and the authority of the Church together with Christ's vicar, the Pope. You will know the "desolating abomination" as it's purpose is to destroy these very structure of the Church.

SACRAMENT OF MARRIAGE - only male to female

Ever since the beginning, when God created humans (Genesis), He created them male and female, to be complementary to each other. God created humans in His image. God's image is compositely "non-sexual" because God is the source of everything and He has both malehood and femalehood in Him combined. When God created the first couple, He distributed and separated maleness from femaleness. He distributed maleness to man and femaleness to the woman. Thus, the very act of "joining of male to female to become one flesh" is a godly act because it combines maleness and femaleness into one just as these are ONE in God. That's what marriage is about in God's eyes, at the very sacred marital act between the man and woman, they are "married" by God.

This was re-instated by Jesus Christ, the Son of God, again in Matthew 19:5 - "...for this reason a man shall leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife, and the two shall become one flesh. So they are no longer two, but one flesh..."

This - male-to-female - and only this combination is what God orders and wills for the sacrament of marriage. Anything else that this world would try to "combine" (ie. same-genders) are not from God and not ordered to God's will and ways. Thus, the only marriage that God commits is between man and woman and this is the only sacramental marriage that the Catholic recognized according to God's will and order.

PRIESTHOOD - The Foundation of the Church

TARGET: The Apostles - satan's strategy

[Keywords: foundation, ground for the gates, foundation of the new Church, gates of hell, APOSTLES at the foundation (where the gates/doors/windows of the Church stand) - our priests]

Targetting the FOUNDATION - the Apostles (Rev. 21:14)/ our priests - the Church crumbles.
Target the MALEness, the GROOMness of the Lamb of God, in the Priesthood, and the Bride (Femaleness, the Church) does NOT get her "other complementary half" and she's abandoned and despaired.
Target God's great architecture, structuralization of the Church foundation - divide and conquer the Church - satan's strategy.
The priest was there to guard the building. He, an Apostle, has his name at the building's foundation where the gates stand. Now, once he, an apostle, is "removed", the foundation crumbled, satan can prowl in through the opening of the broken gates and into the building - inside the Church. And then, the building disappears (destroyed) and the Church is no more. Then God's people become homeless, orphaned, unprotected, and vulnerable to satan's snares even more.

Yes, that's what the Apostles - our priests and bishops - are there for. They are distinct and unique parts of the foundation; to guard and protect the Church (Revelation 21 - names of the Apostles on the 12 stones of foundation of the Church - ideal setup so satan couldn't prowl in).

What exactly does these "guards" do? They conduce the sacraments provided by God through the Church to be given to God's people. They handle and consecrate the Host, the Most Blessed Sacrament. Target them - the Apostles - for destruction and corruption, then Satan tramples all over their "rubble", in through the gates and then right on the sacraments; thus, getting a hold of the sacraments, then descration of the oblations, ie. the Most Blessed Sacrament (refer to Malachi, regarding corrupt priests). And lo and behold, the desolating abomination takes over (see Daniels).

Just look and observe well the prophecy coming true right before our eyes. How long will this be? How much worst can the vocation's situation got down to? It can be that we are at the very pit, near the bottom.

The worst is as the desolating abomination recruits on its side, those it could use and order around at its advantage so as to affect and "infect" the rest of those in the vocation - those at the gates - and in throughout the Church. And so the gate's opening gets even wider. Not only are the Apostles in our priesthood vocation will then be rendered to corruption, but us, the laity, the rest of the people of God will be rendered so as well. The Most Blessed Sacrament which we receive will be desecrated and we who receive it will be desecrated as well. Those who are innocent and have persevered, endured and discerned well against corruption will fight for the good and justice of us all. Thus, we have "bishops against bishops, cardinals against cardinals, priests against priests..."

Even if satan completely succeeds in abolishing the "guards" at the gates (the good foundation upon which the gates, the building, the whole of the Church stand) it is only right that his works and strategy be exposed to everyone. So, others will be aware and will come to understand what's going on and what's in store for us in these times of tribulations.

Therefore, now one can know satan's target and strategy...and so, one is warned.

Yet there is indeed hope. God's angels will come to fight the good fight against the desolating abomination and beyond these tribulations, God will restore His Church for our protection and home, and His cloud will overshadow her and He will be with her again and so with us He is.

TARGET: The MAIN-Apostle, the pope

  1. Just another account that this strategy - TARGET: The Apostles - has been at hand:

Take note that in some of our Blessed Virgin Mary's apparition messages (Garabandal?), it was stated that some of our priests lead the path to perdition. This is part of satan's "taking/recruiting some to his side" and so "the gate's opening gets even wider" for satan's devils to prowl in; satan's corruption and destruction of the "guards" at the gates.

  2. The MAIN-Apostle, St. Peter, was given the key. Our popes have had this key in their pontificate hands. Ever since the start, satan has been coming after the first pope, and even now, he is after our pope; persecuting and "chastising" our dear Pope John Paul II by distorting and blemishing his writings, teachings and most of all his position being the pope. The MAIN-Apostle, the pope, binds and unbinds and this is recognized in heaven. This is why satan has been much more overzealous about targeting the MAIN-Apostle, the pope, the vicar of Christ's Church.

Please pray for our pope, our priests and bishops - our Apostles and shepherds - that they may stand strong against satan's snares upon them and in turn, they, at the "gates" will continue to protect us.

Lord Jesus, save us; bless and protect us.

Mama Mary, please pray for us and watch over us.

"St. Michael, the Archangel, defend us in the battle. Be our protection against the wickedness and snares of the devil. May God rebuke him, we humbly pray and do thou, O Prince of the Most Holy Host, by the power of God, cast into hell, satan and all evil spirits. Those who wander through the world seeking ruin of souls."

Adoration vs. Fellowship

Remember the greatest commandment stated by Jesus Christ which summarizes the first 3 commandments from the Old Covenant of God? When asked by the Pharisees, "Teacher, which commandment in the law is the greatest?"(Matthew 22:36-38). Jesus answered, "You shall love the Lord, your God, with all your heart, with all your soul and with all your mind. This is the greatest and the first commandment. The second is like it: You shall love your neighbor as yourself. The whole law and the prophets depend on these two commandments."

The first and greatest commandment focuses on God while the second focuses on our relationship with our fellowmen. Just like the 10 commandments wherein the first 3 commandments focus on God, what is due only to God alone, while the last 7 focus on our "dealings" with others here on earth.

Thus, as the title of this articles shows, there is "adoration" which is due only to God and so, the greatest commandment. Then there is "fellowship", which pertains to our relationship with others (ie. love and respect parents, thou shalt not kill, thou shalt not commit adultery, etc.)

Never are the 2 the same because the first is due to God and it goes heavenward, towards God in heaven. On the other hand, the second refers to "fellowships" to one another, and how our faith and love for God bear fruits such that we do good to one another.

Tell me, can and must you love yourself with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your mind and strength? Do you see something wrong with that picture, which seems somewhat overly "self-centered"? So if you love yourself with all your might, what is left for God to Whom you should be doing all these? That's why, the first and greatest commandment is foremostly for God alone, with "all...of you" to God. Then, you only have enough to give yourself and others while God compensates for the rest of what each of us needs to give to ourself and others.

I gave the preceding analysis so one can take very good note of the big difference between the first and greatest commandment from the second. There's the difference between the "majority of one's self" (all your heart, all your soul, all your...)which must be given to love God alone in comparison to "minority of one's being" focusing on others because you know how limited "yourself" is compared to God Almighty. Thus, to others, we only give up to what our own capacity can receive but to God, we must give "all". Moreover, take very good note of the "soul" part - that which must only be for God for He is the One who gave us our soul. That's how different the greatest commandment is from the one that is simply "love others as yourself". One may not and can not give one's soul to no other being but God alone.

Thus, only a little can we achieve for ourself that we can share to others but to God, we must give greatly (all).

Now you may ask, how is my point in tackling the greatest commandment related to the "adoration vs. fellowship" topic which I started in the first place here?

I have tackled this issue as a preface to another topic I've been moved to tackle a week ago, which is "Why attend Mass? Why take communion?"

When I woke up yesterday, Friday (09/25/98), this "adoration vs. fellowship" instantly occurred to me and I wanted to really start writing that morning but I was already late for work. So it's just this Saturday afternoon that I've started this. But this was what came to mind about this topic on "adoration of God" vs. "fellowhip with others" ---

Most people who don't attend Mass (some Catholics and some Protestants), would rather attend a weeknight/day fellowship gathering instead. These types of "talks and socialization" setup seem to be more appealing to them, than the somewhat "cold and rigid" ritual of the rite of the Holy Mass.

Is "loving God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your mind, with all your strength" not so appealing like the preferred "love yourself and others likewise"?

Yet, most of only the second commandment usually occurs in these fellowship gatherings although there may be prayer at the beginning and/or end but actual "adoration and love for God with all your heart, soul, mind, and strength" is minimal because most of the time, these people meet to deal with the Word of God and other studies, for their own personal (you know, what-can-I-get-out-of-this?) benefits - and that's mostly "love yourself" again, right?

Somehow, somewhere down the line of these gatherings, the greatest commandment gets lost into oblivion because people end up just wanting something for themselves, sometimes even to find things to bash the Catholic Church, to dissent from the Church, sharing of personal problem so others will comfort them, sometimes personal misinterpretations of the Word of God, pick and choosing only those appealing to them personally (again), while discarding the rest of God's Word, and then afterwards, don't end up applying any of the directives in their daily lives from what they have covered from the "talks".

And you know what else can be observed from these? Who does most of the efforts in "fellowship" sessions? Humans. What's in the sessions? Human/man-made. Can you be assured of holiness from God, God-made sacrament and such signs occurring? Not really because all you see, receive and share is just yourselves to each other which just suffices for the second commandment - "love others as yourself", ie. "what good is this for me?"

Sure, there's that "Jesus is in each one of us" statement. But again, that only suffices for the least of the commandment which is "love others as yourself", which is very much "horizontally-oriented" (worldly) in contrast to the greatest commandment which is "vertically-oriented" (heavenward).

Where's the grace there? And where's the greatest commandment being implemented there?

What about God and adoring and loving Him?

I personally do not see actual sacrament/sign of God is there in such fellowship gatherings. If ever there is Jesus, it is the "human" (and not the Divine) Jesus that is being approached which again, only mostly contribute to "love yourself and others" instead of "love and adoring the Divine God" which is the greater one we must obey.

Thus, the bottom line question to answer is, what is the Holy Mass compared to personal-human-paced fellowhip gatherings? This is like comparing apples and oranges. The Holy Mass provides for the best opportunity to worship our God with all our heart, soul, mind and strength considering we hear His full Word plus we adore Him in the most Blessed sacrament, plus we receive His full grace through communion. All God-made through the Church, given to us by God through the Church, mostly vertically oriented, thus, heavenward.

Keyword there is "worship".

The time for "loving God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your mind and with all your strength" is very much there at Holy Mass.

In conclusion, it is best, in order to abide by Christ's teaching on the first and greatest commandment, that we go to Mass and worship God Who becomes really present right at the altar table. Thus, giving due love, respect and adoration to Whom these are due. This is so, since to most people, most of the week is spent dealing with their fellowmen (home, work, school, even during fellowship gatherings, etc.)already; these are human-to-human interactions that are only contributing to "love other as yourself" part and again forgetting about the greatest commandment - to love God with all...of ourselves.

To best accomplish what Christ directed us to do in the greatest commandment is through attendance of the Holy Mass, belief in the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass, considering only 1 hour or so time it takes, to give to God what is due to Him alone - adoration and love of God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your mind, and with all your strength. All God-made, giving well to God what is due to Him, greatest means to love and adore Him at His altar and tabernacle. Just as the child and also the adult Jesus said when He was at the Temple of God, which is what He referred to as "My Father's House".

God is there. Come and visit Him.

Take the greatest opportunity at Holy Mass, to come as a whole Church (the Mystical Body of Christ) on Sunday and more often than that if you want since the Catholic Church celebrates Mass everyday in our churches!

Hallelujah, praise the Lord, for giving us the Church which provides these many chances to love God everyday in "His House", other than doing our other daily choirs of loving others as ourselves!

Let the greatest commandment occupy most of our life (adoration) rather than merely human-to-human interactions taking over it most of it(fellowship).

Again, Jesus taught, "love God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your mind, and with all your strength". And afterall, you must not give your soul to none other than God alone which makes this commandment the greatest.
