Biography Gregg Martin received his B.S. in Music Entertainment Industry, Arts and Technology from the College of Saint Rose, Albany N.Y. his teachers include Mark Foster, Steve Mathiesen, Dr. Mary Ann Craig, Dr. Margaret A. Sceppach and Timothy Luby. While living in upstate New York, Mr. Martin was director of the Mohonasen High School Percussion Ensemble in Rotterdam from 1993-1998. He also performed with various ensembles and orchestras, as a percussionist. Mr. Martin has received grants from the New York State Council for the Arts, Hudson Valley community College, the American Composers Forum and most recently was composer-in-residence at All Souls Church, Unitarian, in Washington D.C. Mr. Martin is a native of Middlesex N.J. and currently resides in Washington D.C. with his wife Karyn and daughter Tara. Home
