Supported over 500 industrial and large commercial customers with firm natural gas requirements in various ways such as understanding the impact of deregulation, energy studies, equipment analysis and energy strategies.
Supported in-house sales representatives, customers, architects and engineers on technical issues related to HVAC systems, engine drive equipment, and other technologies through energy cost studies, product research, and alternative design considerations.
Responsible for HVAC design, load calculations and energy studies. Designed all types and sizes of HVAC systems for new construction and renovations: direct expansion, chilled water, hot water, electric heating, mechanical ventilation. Projects include schools, tenant spaces (up to 10 stories), restaurants, banks, prisons and hotels (up to 600 rooms).
Designed airside HVAC systems. Performed building load calculations, energy studies and HVAC design. Designed all types and sizes of HVAC systems: direct expansion, chilled water, evaporative cooling, absorption systems, hot water, electric heating and mechanical ventilation systems. Projects included school, tenant spaces, prisons, office buildings (up to 30 stories), exhibition spaces and hotels (up to 600 rooms).
Organized and updated plans and specifications, tracked and/or answered contractors' requests for information and tracked architectural instructions. Calculated and sized mechanical rooms and air shafts prior to and during the schematic design of high-rise office buildings (up to 60 stories), convention hotels (up to 900 rooms) and tenants' retail spaces (up to 100,000 square feet).
