I Met This Model (3)


I met this model at a party. She
understood angular momentum,
she understood the laws of gravitation,
she understood the motion of waves.
Diffusion, resonance--perturbation
in phase, out of phase--drifting into
focus, out of focus, constructive
destructive transformations. Soft
contact--vanishing
overlap--the speed of
light is not enough.

Tenuous Gaussian wings,
reach in all directions,
carry me.

The streets are slick with rain.
