What if there was a NASA site just for kids?  There is, and one focused on (relatively) down-to-earth topics like tropical rain fall and the ozone hole.  There's something for nearly all ages here as well, from an online coloring book to a study of continental drift and plate tectonics.   There's also a very informative frequently asked questions page and lots of excellent links.
