Practice Philosophy 
 
       Dr. Moser is in the solo practice of General Internal Medicine.  
He can be your primary care physician, provide a second opinion, or
consult on other medical problems.  

      His philosophy, like most other physicians, is to provide the 
very best medical care possible at all times.  He tries to empower and 
educate his patients.  In attempt to be responsive to the requests of 
his patients, he has stated "If it is not illegal or medically stupid,
I will try to make it happen for you."  

      Dr. Moser has previous career experience as a psychotherapist, 
and a sexologist.  This can be helpful for patients with problems in

Does Dr. Moser have any special interests? 

 
     Dr. Moser has been instrumental in defining the concept of Sexual 
Medicine and its practice, and is a major focus of his practice.

     Dr. Moser is also very interested in the medical causes of 
psychological problems (e.g. low thyroid causing depression) and 
psychological triggers to medical problems (e.g. anxiety causing an 
asthma attack).  Substance abuse, preventive medicine, skin problems,
obesity, and hypertension are a few ot other medical problems that are 
particularly fascinating to Dr. Moser.

     1:00 PM to 5:00 PM, Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday
     1:00 PM to 4:00 PM, Friday
     11:00 AM to 12Noon, Tuesday and Thursday
     Wednesday by appointment and Emergencies
 
Emergency Coverage is provided 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, of course.

Does Dr. Moser take my insurance?

     Insurance coverage is very confusing these days.  Dr. Moser has 
attempted to take all insurance plans.  He will apply to just about
any insurance plan you request, but not all plans are open to new 
physician members.  The best way to check is call your plan and ask if 
Dr. Moser is listed.  If not then you can request that a physician 
membership application be sent.  If he is listed, then they can tell 
you how to choose him as your primary care physician.
 
What IPA's does Dr. Moser belong to?

     Patients choose an insurance plan, physicians choose an IPA
(Independent Practice Association).  If your insurance plan contracts
with an IPA that Dr. Moser belongs to, then you can choose him as your 
primary care physician.  There are also insurance plans that contract
directly with the physician, (e.g. Blue Cross Prudent Buyer).
