It is as follows: 1 1/2 cups of all purpose flour. 1 16oz container of Cool Whip. (add a pinch of salt) 2 small packages of instant chocolate pudding. 1 stick of melted butter prepared with 3 1/2 cups of milk. 3/4 cups of finely chopped nuts. 1 tsp of Vanilla flavoring. 1 pkg 8oz cream cheese. 1 cup powdered surger. Make crust from first 3 ingredients. Press into 9x13 glass baking dish. Bake at 350 Degrees for 20 minutes. CHill. Mix cream cheese and powered surger untill smooth. Fold in 1 cup of cool whip: spread in dish on top of crust. Make pudding with vanilla and milk by beating slowly with mixer. Spread on cheese layer. Cover with cool whip and sprinkle chopped nuts over the top Chill for 2 hours, and serve. I have been doing so for the last three years. This year however, has been bigger than ever! The fund raiser is called, "Kids To Camp" For the last three year's, the local Police departmen of the city of Bell Gardens CA. Have taken the time to help out in this event. This fund raiser helps kids go to (day/summer/winter/mountain) Camp. Many of the kids that come to the YMCA, are unable to pay for full services. That doesn't meen we turn them away. We have Financile assistant programs that enable parents to send their kids to camp with little or no cost to them. However, the YMCA is a Non Profit organization and relies on donations for this program. AS of January 28, 1994. Colectively. The Bell Gardens Police department, and the Staff of the S/E Rio Vista YMCA, have Raised over $200,000 this year. The money is still coming in! This is the biggest Amount we have taken in in the three years that i have been running this fund raiser. It will enable at least 200 to 250 kids to stay off the streets, and give them a safe plave to go after school, and when school is out. These are kids that normaly would not be able to attend if it weren't for this program. The fund raiser is a football game that is going to be held next Sunday. Included in that Football game is a FREE health clinic where kids can go and get immunization shots, check ups, health screanings ect ect. All FREE!! A Local Radio station, Power 106, is co sponsoring this years event. And has been instermental in this years efforts. Written By *MR.Chaos*
