"GONZilla Goes To Hollywood" The specially equipped C-141 transport plane, owned by the now quite famous Mr. Stoneman, touched down at Los Angeles International Airport. There was a consortium of film makers present, Universal, Paramount, etc., waiting to greet GONZilla, JUNIORzilla, and Golly. All had tried to sign the trio to a long term contract, but thus far, had been unsuccessful. Uncle Al, the legal sponsor of the trio designated so by his boss Stony, had refused their quite prolific offers. He had insisted on a first hand look at the various studios. Among the awaiting and rapidly growing crowd was a myriad of spectator/fans of the trio. The plane edged toward the debarking area and came to a stop. A truck with staircase to facilitate regress from the plane moved into position. The side door opened and Stony and the beautiful Christina stepped out onto the landing to the cheers of several thousand fans. The roar was deafining. The ramp at the rear of the plane began to descend, the roar of the crowd died down in expectation of seeing the most un- usual trio. You could hear a pin drop....then Uncle Al emerged, the crowd went wild until they realized the moment of seeing their favorite trio had not yet happened. Uncle Al sniffed in indignation at the sudden silence and then turned to motion his friends out. And then it happened....Golly was first to emerge from the plane to the completely insane happiness of the now rowdy crowd. GONZilla was next followed closely by his son, JUNIOR. Reporters from all over the world rushed to get the first pictures and the first words of the famous trio....that is....until GONZilla let out a roar of his own matching the decibel level of thousands of people. The press stopped in their tracks, Uncle Al laughed whole heartily at their discomfort, and Stony and Christina joined in....now standing in front of the press. Uncle Al whispered to GONZilla and the giant but gentle T-Rex settled down. The crowd had upset him somewhat and little JUNIOR, now close to a ton in weight. Stony and Christina stepped forward, a podium replete with micro- phone had been hastily erected. He held up his hand to silence the crowd as well as the reporters waiting to interrogate anyone who would allow it. "Can I have your attention please? PLEASE....the noise is upset- ting them!", Stony said/shouted. The din of noise died down to a tolerable level. "We will not be answering questions at this time. My assistant, Christina Flower, apropriately named I might add, will make a statement. If Al consents, I will allow GONZilla and Golly to say hello. JUNIOR is too upset at this time.", Stony stepped back and motioned for Chris- tina to proceed. Dressed in red and showing much of her long beautiful legs, she stepped up to the podium with a smile that could melt an iceberg. "We are all very happy to be here. All of the various studios have graciously invited us to tour their respective facilities and talk of a possible movie deal will be in progress. We will also be touring the various amusement parks in Southern California, Disneyland, Knottsberry Farm, and Magic Mountain, not to mention several sites of historical signifigance in your fair city. We want to thank the city of Los Angeles for providing the specialized transportation and living facilities necess- ary to the health and well being of GONZilla, JUNIOR, and of course.... Golly. It's now time to meet the ones you've all come to see....Uncle Al?", Christina stepped back and Uncle Al stepped forward with Golly. "I'm Al....theses are my friends....please treat them respect." Golly came forward and put his front paws on the podium. "Rello revryrody!" The crowd went nuts! "Rere rad roo re rhere....ron't rorget....RI'll re rerforming rat rhe Rimprov in Rasendena....", before he could finish, Uncle Al, a stern look on his face started to scold the intelligent and funny rottweiller, "Golly!....this is NOT an opportunity to further you're career! Say goodbye...." A rather dejected Golly merely said, "Roodrye revryrun....ARF!" GONZilla, prodded by Al, stomped forward, a little intimidated by the crowd. "ROOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!", a squaaaaaaaark escaped from JUNIOR who was hiding behind his father. "Rello......Rats rall RI rave roo ray.", GONZilla stepped back quickly almost stepping on his son. Al quickly took over. "I'm sorry everyone....they're not used to this many people." It was enough for the crowd....they really could talk! The roar reached an unbelievable crescendo....a specialized semi-tractor/trailer pulled up and Al began loading the trio aboard while Stony and Christina fended off the press............ **** Written by *~NightWing~*/*L37* Next week The conclusion and final episode in the GONZilla series Copyright (C) 1993,94 Larry H.
