L U N Y
Linux Users of New YorkLUNY is New York's Linux user group. Our primary goal is responsible advocacy of the Linux and open-source platforms, especially at the enterprise level. Membership is free and all members are welcome.
LUNY is currently not active. Please contact Matt Hunt at matt@omnipod.com if you can volunteer time to help us revive LUNY. We lost our meeting space, and LUNY's leaders are in very demanding jobs that do not leave them enough time to find a new meeting space and to arrange for guest speakers. LUNY would welcome committed volunteers who can make the time to find a new meeting space in lower Manhattan or who would be comfortable contacting potential guest speakers. If these needs can be met, we can begin to reactivate the group, and can begin to expand into other aspects of volunteer activity.
