Oslo Lodge—Demonstrating the Warmth of Norway

Oslo Lodge was organized on August 22, 1935 with 56 members.

In 1944, after Norway was invaded by the Germans, the lodge members took up

collections for food, clothing and money to aid Norway relief and

Camp Little Norway in Toronto, Canada , where Americans were

being trained to help in Norway, if needed.

In 1964 the lodge pledged $1,000 to furnish a room in the new Harrison Memorial Hospital

and in 1979 the lodge donated $500 to the new regional library--in addition to many volunteer labor hours.

A spirit of cooperation and enthusiasm as well as dedication to

fraternal ideas and the preservation of Norwegian culture make

Oslo Lodge a proud part of the sons of Norway family.
