Judith Gindy, the versatile director of Party Magic, Inc., describes herself as a "party choreographer", a person who weaves together celebrity look-alikes and all the elements of party planning into a unified, memorable event.
An experienced professional entertainer, Judith Gindy heads a growing entertainment bureau in South Florida that represents more than 800 performers, including singers, celebrity look-alikes, mimes, jugglers and dancers, musicians, and acrobats.
In 1983, Gindy founded Party Magic, Inc. to meet the need for variety show entertainment. Originally, she sang and danced in her own show and gradually added other performing artists, including her son, David, a talented magician. When demand for his services increased, Gindy had to look for other entertainers for her show. "And so, the idea for 'Party Magic' was born," she said.
Party Magic, Inc. is the culmination of a varied career in the arts that has encompassed dance, sculpture, and singing for the Coral Gables, Florida resident. She studied with Jose Limone at the Connecticut College for Dance and at Martha Graham's Dance School. After studying choreography with Louis Horst, she went on to open up a dance school called "Modern Creative Dance" and did choreography for the Miami Beach Convention Center.
Gindy studied art at the University of Miami and Tyler Art School, where her talent for sculpture began to emerge. In the early nineteen sixties, inspired by her mother, nationally know artist/painter, Reyna Youngerman, she decided to project the rhythm and movement of dance into art.
Her work has been exhibited at the University of Miami Lowe Museum, the Miami Museum of Science, the Coconut Grove Playhouse, Temple Beth Am, and the Hollywood Art Museum (Hollywood, FL).
Yet a thrid career waited in the wings for Gindy as a singer. She studied with vocal coaches Dr. Paul Csonka, Laidislo Vaida, and Warren Broome. Her repertoire includes operetta, Gershwin, and musical comedy.
