Soon after implementing the Tracker Newsprint Problem Control Feature, pressroom runnability improved dramatically and took our overall efficiency to new heights.

Prior to using Tracker, our average breaks per 100 was 6.6, which translated into 390 web breaks. After using Tracker our average was 1.9 or 110 web breaks. This is a reduction of 280 web breaks in a six month period. I call this significant.

I have been a Bear Island Tracker since 1990! And I will be a Bear Island Tracker user until I retire!

With Tracker all the guesswork has vanished. I'm able to maintain computer files of all my usage and the actual cost. A complete and accurate inventory both on-hand and rolling and value by purchase price is available and up-to-date at all times. All this takes me an average of 30 minutes a day. I can't imagine managing a printing company without Tracker.
