We will be leaving Denver for a round about drive to Salida, Colorado.

 

We will be driving up Turkey Creek Canyon to Conifer, heading south at Pine Junction on our way to Woodland Park. We then cruise through beautiful downtown Colorado Springs (not getting on the Interstate!) before heading south to Florence. You may want  to pick up something in Florence for a picnic lunch in the park in Westcliffe. After lunch we'll enter the Arkansas River valley at Cotopaxi for the final run into Salida.
