Welcome and many thanks to our new representatives:

I am pleased to introduce our new state representatives.  Their contact information is below.  Welcome Lynn, Jami and Shirley.    - Terri Andrews, Rep Coordinator
I am excited to introduce
Lynn Lascola to you as our new state representative for North California.  Lynn is a HELLP survivor who developed HELLP in her 32nd week.  She had an emergency c-section with a long, slow recovery.  Her son spent 6˝ weeks in the NICU and she is pleased to report things are going well and both mother and son are great.  Lynn's e-mail address is lynnlascola@yahoo.com.

Jami Hunt-Williams
devaah@excite.com  I would love the opportunity to serve as state representative for Missouri. I delivered my son at 27 weeks gestation and he was 2 pounds 4 ounces and in the ICN for seven weeks. He too is an energetic, beautiful three-year-old.  I think one of the main things at this point is raising awareness.  Becoming a presence at women's health fairs and conferences and such, having promotional and information materials developed and printed on a large scale, reaching out to the community of women through humor and understanding might be the most effective way.

I am pleased to announce
Shirley Pugh has accepted the position of Alabama state rep.  Shirley is a HELLP Syndrome survivor.  She developed HELLP with her first pregnancy and her HELLP "baby" will celebrate her 9th birthday next month.  Shirley did go on to have a second pregnancy that was HELLP-free.  Please join me in welcoming Shirley.  She can be reached at ShrlyPugh@aol.com.
