Plans are well underway for our annual giving campaign.  You should receive info about this year's program, which is our primary fundraiser, sometime in early November.  We hope that you will continue to be as generous as you have been in the past.  We are very honored to have Dr. Melissa Wilson write this year's annual campaign letter, which will accompany our 2006 brochure.  There are many nice gifts available for various levels of donation.  If you would like to receive a gift from us, please visit our web site and click on the donation tab to print out a form that will allow you to choose size, color… 

More and more companies are offering matching donations for their employees who donate to qualified non-profit organizations.  Please ask your employer for more information. 

You may have noticed on the web site that our HELLP Syndrome Society Symposium is planned for the summer of 2007.  Due to a scheduling conflict with NASSHP (North American Society for the Study of Hypertension in Pregnancy) we have elected to move our Symposium to the last weekend in June of 2008.  It will be held at the beautiful Oglebay Resort in Wheeling, West Virginia.  This change will allow us to attend the NASSHP conference in San Diego in June 2007.  We are considering a social gathering followed by a session.  This will allow us the opportunity to meet our members from the west.  Plans are in the early stages and are incomplete at this time.  We hope to provide a forum for you to meet and speak with some of the doctors who are outstanding in this field.  We are also exploring the possibility of an on-site enrollment in our two separate on going research studies.  You can visit our web site for more details about the research with Dr. Wilson and Dr. How.
