rshirley@cox-internet.com (Springdale, AR) I developed HELLP July 10th and delivered another baby girl at 30 weeks. Got along further this time, last time 24/25 weeks and lost our daughter to HELLP. I think diet, bed rest, low dose aspirin helped. I increased my protein, calcium, potassium, magnesium and water intake. Jasmine weighed 3 lbs. and now at 1 week old she only has very little oxygen going thru her nose, but doing all the work herself. Thank you.

srussell@twave.net (Taylorsville, NC) I am happy to say that I gave birth to a healthy baby girl on June 22 by scheduled c-section.  I had HELLP Syndrome in my first pregnancy and I had to have an emergency c-section in September 2000.  My son was fine but I was in really bad shape.  I had no symptoms of HELLP this time, not even any morning sickness.  It was a great pregnancy.  I'm not sure if it had anything to do with a healthy pregnancy, but I took a baby aspirin every day this time.  I just wanted to send this e-mail to let anyone out there that has doubts of trying again that it can be a good experience.  Your website and e-mails in your newsletter gave me the courage to try again and it was so worth it!  Thanks for all of the valuable information and stories from HELLP survivors.

jsgerber@sympatico.ca (Stratford, Ontario) Just thought I'd let you know that I gave birth to a beautiful baby girl on July 5th. She was 1 week early. I went into labour despite a planned section a few days later... No HELLP this time! We named her Lilyanne Elizabeth. She weighed 6lbs 15oz. I can't believe the difference postpartum. I feel terrific. - last time at this point I could hardly get out of bed! Just thought I'd let everyone know!

From Tiffani
tiffanibearup@hotmail.com (Las Vegas, NV) Thanks for all the hard work and dedication you and the others give to the HELLP Syndrome Society. It has made such a difference in my life. I'm emailing you to announce the birth of our daughter, Dakota Rose. In my previous pregnancy I developed severe HELLP at 24 weeks and our precious daughter Angelica Rose passed away. In this pregnancy, I had no complications from HELLP and delivered Dakota full term. It was a nerve wracking pregnancy and I was watched closely by my OB/GYN and perinatologist. I took low dose aspirin and foltx to counteract my MTHFR C677T mutation and they appear to have worked. I don't know if I would have had the courage to attempt another pregnancy without reading about all the success stories in the newsletter, so I wanted to add my own successful account. Thank you
