It truly is the health journal for every child ... from pregnancy on!

Your Child's Health & Wellness Record is a book in which parents record health, wellness and educational details for their child.  It is different from other health journals as it is suitable for children who are developing typically and for those who have complex health issues or conditions. It also recognizes the involvement of a wide variety of health practitioners such as medical specialists, occupational therapists, speech and language pathologists, chiropractors, naturopaths, psychologists etc. 

As an RN, BScN, photographer and mother of three, I know first hand how difficult, but important, it can be to remember health and wellness details.  I have learned that the children that do the best are the ones with parents that are informed, organized, and able to advocate effectively for their child.  My goal is to provide information and guidance so that all parents, regardless of background, are able to do this.

This book does not contain any health related advice or information.  Rather, the focus is on learning to communicate with health and wellness professionals, advocating collaboratively for your child, and learning what details are important to record and why.  There is nothing like it on the market ... I know because I searched for one.  It is not only practical, it is beautiful to look at and includes gorgeous black and white photographs of children.   Health professionals love it because it ensures that parents come to them with the information they need to make accurate decisions, and parents love it because it gives them the confidence to seek the best for their child.
