(Iowa Falls, IO) Shelly was a fifth grade teacher and first time mother and was well loved in her community. She passed away in mid-January, one week after giving birth to her first child. The baby, a daughter, was born two months premature after Shelly's developed preeclampsia and liver, kidney and lung failure. The baby is expected to survive.
