Accomplishments as Senior Programmer: 1991 - 1996

Developed a LAN based work scheduling system in Clipper, that daily downloaded
data from the company mainframe systems, then loaded it into LAN based databases.
These were manipulated by companion programs he wrote for the department
managers.

Developed a cycle time system in Clipper that allowed tracking of work orders
through the plant. This included an analysis program he developed in MS Access
for printing of reports, graphs and charts.

Created multi-million dollar Invertory Tracking system for the repair center
parts stock cage in Clipper, which included cost tracking/analysis, and
automatically reconciled physical inventory verification.

Assisted in the creation and maintenance of an MS Access mirror of a MACPAC
mainframe data system. He assisted in writing the off-line systems that
downloaded and imported the data unattended.

Participated in a team that specified hardware and software for a Barcode
Verification system for use on the loading dock. He wrote the software for
this in Clipper, MS Access, and DBFast, then installed the hardware, and
trained the users of the system.

Assisted in the support of EDI and like transactions between multiple trading
partners while at AT&T Paradyne, using
Supply
Tech, Inc's STX® Software.

Provided backup support for two servers on a Novell LAN, assisting in
administering user accounts and file access on a test software server and
a data warehouse server.

Provided support for PC hardware for the Operations Department, being one
of persons who installed Network Interface cards, Printers, and Hard Drives
and maintained HP LaserJet IIIsi printers on a regular basis. He also provided
Telephone and person-person help desk type support for LAN based MS Office
and other software.

Assisted users in Paradyne Corporation in setting up their systems for WWW
usage, and installed
SuperTCP
Winsock software, NetScape, and other
internet software on their systems. After installation, he trained these
personal in the usage of the software.
Accomplishments as Senior Tech Aide - Programmer: 1989 - 1991
He developed computer software for monitoring and improvement of manufacturing
information, such as head count, attendance, reviews, and process cycle time.
He also provided support for PC hardware, such as printers and computers.
