Here's some of Tina's embroidery...

These are based on Jack's line art of our characters in an internet chat site/game...

The line art was sewn in colored thread on white cotton fabric on decorative hoops.  These were hanging on the wall behind the wedding cake when we got married.

This one is based on Jack's line art, "The Mystery of Cats".

The line art was sewn in cotton, and the solid areas filled in with colored pencil set with an iron. Then it was cut out, and glued onto the glass front of a picture frame. Inside the frame is some dark purple polyester satin, with glitter applied to the crystal ball and the area surrounding it.

The completed picture looks MUCH better than this scan does.

This embroidered picture is based on Jack's "Sophia" picture...

As with the one above, I did the line art in colored thread on cotton fabric, and colored the solid areas in iron-set colored pencil.  The eyes are solidly satin-stitched in several colors of brown.

I felt she needed more jewelry, so I added the necklace... The jewelry line art is stitched in metallic gold thread, and the necklace is filled in with glitter gold hot-melt glue. I then set a plastic gem in the center of the necklace.

Here's a picture I did for my mother:
